Castelldefels has good communications by road and railroad. It's only 20 minutes long from Castelldefels to the center of Barcelona city .As we'll often use the train, let's take a look at the local railroad's station :

The exact place where we will have the speeches, workshops, etc... is the "Casal de Cultura" ("Culture's Home"), that is very near the town center and is part of the city's castle:

This house is the meeting point of many cultural associations, including the Astronomical Association of Castelldefels, founded on 1990 that has in its short history hadmany successful events like "Star Parties" and trips to eclipse's around the world.

Tipically, Castelldefels is a summer city. During that time, tourists of many European countries visit the town, that is full of hotels, houses and resorts and a nautical club. Castelldefles is separated in two zones: The town and the beach. We will be in the town, while the beach is about 5 minutes away.
